The PDFA is happy to announce that the registration for the womens football club are now open at the Poona District Football Association office. Teams /Clubs interested in registering themselves will have to download the registration form, from the website and submit to the PDFA office on or before the 8th August 2011.

NETAJI CUP 2011 KOLHAPUR

The Amanora Deccan XI F.C. won their Quarter Final Match in Kolhapur against Practice Football Club (Kolhapur) 2-0 in the "Netaji Cup 2011", State Level Football Tournament, organised by the Netaji Tarun Mandal under the Kolhapur Football Association.

Goals scored by Faizal Razack 70' pass by Prakash Thorat and Sudhir Pawar 76' pass by Prakash Thorat.

The Semi Finals will be played on Friday 13th May 2011 against Dilbahar Talim Mandal (Kolhapur)

The 2nd Division I - League qualification round for Maharashtra State will start from 1st December 2010 to 9th December 2010 at Cooperage football ground Mumbai.

PDFA host 3 International Friendly football Matches
Three home international football friendly matches for Bob Houghtan’s men have been earmarked for the city starting in the first week of October. In a late development a third friendly was added to the earlier two..

Hong Kong, Vietnam and Yemen are ranked higher than India and that makes an ideal preparation for Bob Houghton’s side for their 2011 AFC Asian Cup campaign in Qatar. The Fifa website allow India (ranked 160) are scheduled to play against Hong Kong (ranked 136) on October 4 and against Vietnam (125) on October . The third match against Yemen (107), though not listed, is likely to be played on October 13.
